Join them for the archdiocesan Pentecost Vigil Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on June 7 at 5 p.m. They are excited for Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, MSpS, to lead them in this holy celebration. As they gather to worship, they anticipate a transformative experience of the Holy Spirit’s presence among them.
Pentecost honors the event described in the New Testament book of Acts (Acts 2:1-4), where the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and other followers of Jesus gathered in Jerusalem. This event fulfilled Jesus’ promise to send the Holy Spirit to empower and guide His disciples.
A Special Invitation to New and Fully Initiated Catholics
Did you celebrate Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil? Did you join the Catholic Church through a Profession of Faith? Archbishop Gustavo wishes to celebrate the Eucharist with all newly initiated Catholics. He wants to share the sacramental presence of Jesus Christ with you in Holy Communion so that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, they may continue to walk united in Christ. Please join them for the Pentecost Vigil Mass along with your godparents, family, and friends.
Thank you to the donors of the Archbishop’s Appeal for Ministries who make pastoral ministry possible throughout the Archdiocese.
