SUMMARY:13th Annual Community Preparedness Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join the City of San Antonio Office of Emergency Management in
  celebrating National Preparedness Month!\nNational Preparedness Month is 
 observed every year\, September 1 – 30. The purpose is to raise awarenes
 s about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that cou
 ld happen at any time.\nThe Community Preparedness Workshop (CPW) is one o
 f the initiatives the Office of Emergency Management hosts during Septembe
 r to provide information and resources to the members of our community.\nT
 he workshop will include educational/informational presentations\, partner
  exhibit tables\, and resources for attendees to prepare themselves and th
 eir families for emergencies.\nThis meeting site is accessible to persons 
 with disabilities. Free public parking is available. Throughout the event 
 there will be auxiliary aids and services\, including Deaf interpreters an
 d live Spanish translation.
